Fundraising

There are many different fundraising options when running a quiz night. Each Legends Trivia quiz night includes a comprehensive document outlining how to run the quiz night and to maximise its fundraising. There are three main ways collect money from a quiz night:

Entry Fee: Charge an entry fee.

Auctions/Raffes: Auction and/or raffle memorabilia or other products. Legends Trivia has a number of partners that can help you with raising money from memorabilia auctions or raffles. Go to our Memorabilia Page.

Melbourne Quiz NIght Auctions:

In Melbourne we have a relationship with a memorabilia group. They provide the auction items (3-4), setup your room and run a silent auction for you. You keep all proceeds above the reserve. This makes it a lot easier for you as they take care of everything. It usually raises $200 - $3000, depending on the crowd.

Melbourne's Artist At Work:

This is a unique fundraiser that is absolute free. Joe is an artist who comes along to the function and paints an item of sporting memorabilia on a stretched canvas. The item is auctioned at the end of the night, after which the proceeds are split so there's no cost and no risk to you. Joe is also available in other cities but you would have to cover his acommodation and flight costs.

Games: Run games for prizes where players pay money to play the game.

Other Fundraising or Party Activities:

We recommend the following companies for general fundraising resources:

Party Oz: A directory of party activities.

Australian Fundraising: Specialists in school fundraising programs such as raffles, chocolates and fun-run.
